Why bespoke die-cut boxes are essential to business
Die-cut boxes are essential to modern packaging for not just major retailers but small businesses as well. They are ideal as a packaging solution because they can be cut to size and require little if no tape or glue to be put together.
So how are they made?
Well here at Boxtopia, we have our very own cookie-cutter machine that enables us to stamp out your required box size and shape from a single sheet of corrugated cardboard.
Corrugated cardboard is especially useful for packaging as it is created using flutes. These are placed between to liner boards and held in place using a strong adhesive. This creates the right amount of pressure and strength to avoid bending that would occur with a simple sheet of cardboard.
Once your die-cut box dimensions have been chosen, Boxtopia will stamp out your box shape and size. The bespoke boxes will be delivered to you flat with the tabs, slots and scores all there ready for you to make your box up in minutes. The self-locking nature of a die-cut box saves you mountains of time sitting gluing or taping them together, either at home or in your warehouse.
Die-cut boxes are not only excellent for packaging but also look great as display pieces in shop fronts. Boxtopia not only offers bespoke measurements on all of our die-cut boxes, with the single-walled versions we can also provide you with different coloured boxes, such as brown, white, black and royal blue.
